Question Categories
Q:I have updated my profile but when I view a PDF of my application it shows the old information. Is there any way to overwrite this?A:When you submit an application, the system locks your answers in permanently. HR departments are aware of this and know to check candidate profiles for updated information.Back to TopQ:What happens if I withdraw my application?A:If you withdraw your application the district will no longer consider you for the position from which you are withdrawing. If you withdraw by mistake, please contact the district and they can re-activate your application.Back to TopQ:My application status says “Incomplete”. What should I do?A:If your application status reads “Incomplete,” you will need to contact the district to ask why they have marked it this way. The district’s HR department will tell you if additional application materials are needed.Back to Top
Q:Can I upload more attachments?A:You are currently limited to a maximum of six (6) upload documents. These will carry over to other applications if you apply for more than one job.Back to TopQ:Can I upload a separate group of attachments for each job posting to which I apply?A:At this time there is no way to upload different attachments for different job postings. If you overwrite your current attachments with new ones then the old versions will no longer be viewable by the district.Back to TopQ:Can I upload different cover letters for each job posting to which I apply?A:There is currently no way to upload different cover letters for each job to which you apply. It is best to use a generic cover letter when adding one to your attachments page. This may be unnecessary in some cases where districts have a specific page on their application for you to type your cover letter.Back to Top
Q:How do I apply to jobs as an internal applicant?A:To apply to jobs as an internal applicant, you must currently be employed by the district to which you are applying. There are two ways to create an internal account. Some districts have an “Internal” button enabled at the top right of the screen which will take you through the process of creating an internal account. If you have already created an account and would like to change it to internal, select the “Account Settings” option at the top of the screen after you have logged in. On the right side of the page there is an “Account Type” section. Here you can change your external account to internal by selecting “I am a current employee.”Back to TopQ:How do I view internal job postings?A:To view internal job postings, login with an internal account. The internal postings will appear under the job listings with all of the external postings.Back to TopQ:How do I transfer my Recruit & Hire account from one district to another?A:To transfer your account, sign out of the site (if applicable) and begin applying for the position you would like. You will be prompted to create a new account, sign in, or transfer a currently existing account. Enter the email and password that is connected with your other Recruit & Hire account. Enter the state that the account is located in and press continue. The site will locate your other account. You can then select it to transfer the information over. Please be aware that only some of your profile information will be moved over. You will still need to fill out certain sections on new applications.Back to TopQ:Can I combine multiple Recruit & Hire accounts with different districts?A:Unfortunately you are not able to combine accounts at this time.Back to TopQ:How do I find out about new job postings?A:You can sign up for job alerts on the main login page. Once this is done, you will receive weekly email notices of the jobs that the district has posted.Back to TopQ:How do I change the email address and password linked to my account?A:You can change your account information by select “Account Settings” at the top of the web page. To access account settings you will first need to login.Back to TopQ:If I transfer my account, do I lose all the information in the initial district?A:No information will be lost if you transfer your account. Your account with the previous district will remain active.Back to Top

Q:If I answered NO to the background questions, why is the system requiring I word process an answer to the yes when I have already answered NO?A:The red * requires an answer. Just enter NA or Not Applicable to each area where the red * is shown. This was made a required item as some applicants would answer yes but did not enter the required information.Back to TopQ:how do i reset my pass wordA:To reset your username or password, go to

> coolidgeschools.org
> Job Postings
> Menu (on the right hand side of the screen)

Q:I need to update application and it will not let me.A:Once you have logged back into SchoolRecruiter the page will list several tabs at the top, select the "Profile" tab, which will switch to another page which will list a box on the left. Select Update Classified or Certified Application then you can view to the right the various sections of the application which will allow you to make changes. To update attachments select "Attachments" you can delete and then upload updated attachments.Back to TopQ:What is the procedure to attach multiple transcripts and letters of recommendations to the on-line application?A:"Right now the system allows only 1 transcript and recommendation per application. The applicant will have to combine the multiple transcripts/recommendations into 1 document and upload a single file." That is a direct quote from SchoolRecruiter.
Another option is for you to bring/send your documents to me. I will scan them, place them in your application and return them to you or destroy them as you see fit.
I will keep an eye out for your application and see which option you chose!
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Terry
Back to TopQ:Hi,
I am working on the application for the special services director, however when I try to upload more than one document under transcripts, it deletes the previous one. I even tried to click save and continue and it will still only allow me to save one document in each area. Please help! Thanks
A:Hi, Angie! When I asked SchoolRecruiter this same question last week, theri reply was "The applicant will have to combine the multiple transcripts/recommendations into 1 document and upload a single file."
that is the best answer that I can give you. Try it, OK? Let me know if it does NOT work.
Back to TopQ:I attached two letters of recommendation. One from Mrs. Tara Wheeler, and another one from Dr. Amy Spilde. I can't locate the ones from Mrs. Barcelo and the one from Mrs. Collier because of my recent move. If I need to get those two, in addition to the two I have on there, please let me know. Thank you again for looking at my application. I hope to hear from you all soon.

A:While a third letter of professional recommendation is requested in the job posting and would be appreciated, it is not urgent that it be attached at this particular moment in time. Keep looking for the other, and when you find them, upload them.
Thank you for choosing to apply to Coolidge Schools.
Back to TopQ:To whom it may concern'

Hello and my name is Paul Soriano. I submitted an application for the physical education position earlier. My application states that it is still incomplete. I am actually in the process of receiving my third letter of recommendation and will attach it soon. And also it shows in my application status that my fingerprint card is in process. So does that mean I still need to take any forward action or is it okay? And for transcripts, I am not sure how to go about it. Do I send it as a mail to the district? I am not sure. And finally, I am still in school and will be graduating this December. So how would I go through the process of getting my AZ teaching certificate if I have not received my Bachelors?

Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
A:When you have the third letter of professional recommendation, attach it to your application. The same is true of your fingerprint clearance card. Attach it when you get it. You have (apparently) incomplete transcripts attached to your application now. You can apply for an official transcript when you have graduated. If you do so and have them sent to your residence, DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPE as this voids the "OFFICIAL" aspect! Should you be offered employment, it is best to have the official transcript sent directly to the HR department, or if you receive it at home, bring them/it (transcripts/envelope) into HR. Lastly, after your graduate in December, you will need to contact the AZ Department of Education who will direct you at to how to proceed to garner your certificate. Use the following link: http://www.azed.gov/educator-certification/files/2011/09/fingerprint-card-information.pdf?20150302
I think that covers the issues you addressed.
Thank you for applying to Coolidge Schools.
Back to TopQ:I am not currently living in arizoma but I see one of the requirements is the fingerprint clearance, I have one for California but not Arizona. Can I still be considered for the job if I am not in arizoma to complete the fingerprints? I don't want to move unless I have a job.A:Yes, you can still be considered for any job available without an Arizona
DPS issued fingerprint clearance card. And you do not need one to be hired. You will, however, need to secure a card as part of the Coolidge Unified School District hiring process if you are going to work in a position that mandates having the card. Following is the link to get an IVP fingerprint Clearance card in Arizona.

You're welcome.
Back to TopQ:I need to change my password and usernameA:If you know your current username and password, then you can simply log in and click the "Account Settings" link at the top of the screen in the bar.
If not, then you'll need to use the 'forgot password' tool to get your password, and then take the steps above.
If this doesn't work (and it should because I copied and pasted the answer from SchoolRecruiter!), please resubmit the question.
Back to TopQ:If the position says closed, does that mean it's been filled? Do you always send out letters telling the applicant that they were not picked for the job?A:Yes, sometimes a job position marked "Closed" is due to the position being filled. Other times it means that we are not currently actively seeking to fill the position. Perhaps there was an indication that the position would be vacated but that did not happen.
In this particular case the "Closed' does mean that the position has been filled and you were not selected.
Thank you for your interest in the Coolidge Unified School District.

Back to TopQ:I have completed my application and how do I get an interview?A:As applications come in they can be reviewed by any principal. As a principal has need to fill a position, he/she can consider each candidate's application for requested documents, check references, make contact with the candidate, and invite the candidate to come in for an interview.Back to Top
